According to a notification sent by Anadolu Agency (AA) to its subscribers, the report concerning the indictment against IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and his son Selim İmamoğlu, titled "Allegation that money obtained from criminal organization activities was used for personal enrichment," contained the erroneous figure of "772 million lira" in its lead and 16th paragraph.

CORRECTION AND REVISION

The agency decided to correct the error 12 hours later. With the revision, it was stated that the correct amount is "772 thousand lira." AA officially announced the revision in a notification to its subscribers.

TRT Haber, which cited AA's report as its source, updated the content on its website following the correction. However, the social media post containing the same figure was not removed from the X platform.
