Another resignation in the IYI Party! 'I do not find this political process sustainable from my perspective...'

The wave of resignations continues in the IYI Party, which held an extraordinary convention following the local elections, where Müsavat Dervişoğlu won the chairmanship election.

Former IYI Party Parliamentary Group Chairman and 27th Term Bursa Deputy İsmail Tatlıoğlu has resigned.

Tatlıoğlu made a written statement regarding his resignation.

In his statement, Tatlıoğlu announced his resignation with the words, "I do not find this political process sustainable from my perspective. Therefore, I am ending my membership in the IYI Party."

Pointing out that the resignation decision was a decision postponed due to the congress, Tatlıoğlu used the following expressions;

"The establishment of the IYI Party and its process of entering parliament is a brilliant reflection of our nation's desire for democracy.

A serious contribution has been made to our democratic political accumulation, and a very privileged note has been recorded.

I greet with respect and reverence the brave people who stepped forward from the very beginning to build hope for their country and to write a new story.

I believe that the point reached will be interpreted more accurately in the coming period.

I do not find this political process, in which I have taken part with honor and served with excitement since the first day, sustainable from my perspective. Therefore, I am ending my membership in the IYI Party. (This is a decision that was postponed due to sensitivity regarding the congress). I wish success to the friends who continue.

On this occasion, I would like to thank all my friends, especially the Founding Chairman, who have left or are continuing, with whom we walked and worked together, individually.
