The AKP has accelerated its deputy transfers with the new year. Following Mersin Deputy Hasan Ufuk Çakır, who resigned from the CHP, another deputy is moving to the ranks of the AKP.

According to reports by Hilal Köylü, DEVA Party Kahramanmaraş Deputy İrfan Karatutlu has resigned from his party. Karatutlu will officially join the AKP tomorrow.

The DEVA Party, which entered the general elections on May 14, 2023, on CHP lists, had sent 15 deputies to Parliament. Following Karatutlu's resignation, DEVA is left with 8 deputies.

Previously, Evrim Rızvanoğlu, Seda Kaya Ösen, Cem Avşar, and Selma Aliye Kavaf, who had resigned from the DEVA Party, had joined the CHP.
