Armed attack on AKP municipal council member in Şanlıurfa
In the Birecik district of Şanlıurfa, an armed attack was carried out on the vehicle of AKP Municipal Council Member Mahmut Dirier. Dirier was unharmed in the attack. Police teams are searching for the fleeing attackers.
At the entrance to Birecik's Kural neighborhood during the night, while he was on his way home at the time of suhoor, Mahmut Dirier's light commercial vehicle was fired upon with long-barreled weapons by unidentified person or persons after he was forced to slow down due to stones placed on the road.

While Dirier, whose vehicle was struck by numerous bullets, escaped the attack unharmed, the suspect or suspects fled the scene.
