İYİ Party's Turhan Çömez shared the reactions of martyrs' families in Bandırma, who asked, "Who will be held accountable?" and "No one is asking me anything." The association reportedly called the families one by one, warning them, "You will not speak again."
İYİ Party Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez shared with the public his experiences during a visit to a martyrs' association in Bandırma.
According to Çömez, during the visit, one relative of a martyr asked, "25 of my friends were martyred beside me; who will be held accountable for this?" while another mother of a martyr expressed her reaction by saying, "I lost my child, and no one is asking me anything."
However, after these remarks were brought to the public agenda, the association's headquarters reportedly called the families in question one by one and issued a warning: "You will not speak again."
