BREAKING NEWS... 4th wave operation against IMM: Many people in custody!

In the 4th wave of operations conducted as part of investigations into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), many executives, including those closest to IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, have been detained.

Among those detained in the operation are İmamoğlu’s Chief of Staff Kadriye Kasapoğlu, Head of Security Mustafa Akın, KİPTAŞ General Manager Ali Kurt, Deputy Secretary General of IMM Arif Gürkan Alpay, and Head of the Department of Neighborhood Affairs Yavuz Saltık.

49 PEOPLE IN CUSTODY

According to the statement made by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention warrants were issued for a total of 49 people.

It was noted that 44 of the 49 individuals for whom detention warrants were issued have been taken into custody.
