Breaking News... AYM schedule for YENİ Party has been set
The High Court has added to its agenda the application claiming that the name and emblem of the YENİ Party are in violation of the Law on Political Parties.
The objection regarding the name of the YENİ Party has been brought to the agenda of the Constitutional Court. The High Court will address the application claiming that the party's name and emblem are in violation of Article 96 of the Law on Political Parties No. 2820.
The application is expected to be discussed at the meeting of the Constitutional Court General Assembly to be held on September 29.
The evaluation to be made by the court will determine the course of the process regarding whether the current name and emblem of the YENİ Party are in compliance with the law.
