Breaking News: Özgür Özel explains the events surrounding Mesut Özarslan's resignation

Following a resignation that sparked debate in political circles, a striking picture has emerged from the CHP front. As allegations surfaced that some other mayors might also resign from the CHP following the departure of Ankara Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özarslan from his party, the CHP Parliamentary Group responded to these claims.

MASS ATTENDANCE AT THE GROUP MEETING

The Republican People's Party (CHP) Parliamentary Group meeting was attended by Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş along with CHP mayors serving in 15 districts of the capital. It was stated that this mass attendance carried a message of unity and integrity within the party.

ÖZEL AND YAVAŞ ENTERED THE HALL TOGETHER

While it was noted that the group meeting hall was completely full, long-lasting applause erupted in the hall when CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş entered together.

NAMES WHO RESIGNED FROM KEÇİÖREN WERE ALSO AT THE MEETING

Deputy mayors Tolga Turgut, Emircan Tunç, and Selçuk Karadağ, who announced their resignation from their duties at the municipality in reaction to Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özarslan's resignation from the CHP, were also present at the CHP Group Meeting.

Here are the highlights from Özel's statements:

Highlights from CHP leader Özel's speech:

Today, we are hosting our Ankara Metropolitan Mayor, our mayors in Ankara, and our provincial organization here. I welcome our very valuable guests. Look at the group meeting of the main opposition party, which is under the heaviest attack in its history, facing slanders, with the state serving one party with all its resources, but look at this meeting. Welcome to all of you, you have honored us.

We were in the earthquake zone last week. I will mention it in a moment, but seeing this atmosphere, I would like to recall an anecdote from there and repeat a statement of mine. While passing between two programs, our Antakya District Chairman reminded me of this: Our Antakya District Chairman's entire family had been left under the rubble. He had lost his first-degree relatives. His wife was in intensive care for days. During my visit to the intensive care unit, he said, 'The district building also collapsed.' He said, 'We were only able to save and retrieve our Atatürk's picture from the district.'

I said: 'May God have mercy on those who passed away. But your wife will get back on her feet, and the district will get back on its feet. I will come to our new district building and hang this picture with my own hands,' I had said. Between two programs, he said, 'Chairman, will you hang that picture, our Atatürk's portrait?' We went to hang it. And when we arrived, the road in front of the district building was closed. We looked around there, they turned over an orange crate or whatever it was, and we climbed on top of it.

"IF YOU ARE SPEAKING FROM AN ORANGE CRATE..."

I said to those who came there: If you are setting up a stage for 10 million in a place where a party will come to power, gathering civil servants, bringing organizations there from 6 provinces, and making a speech to them from a teleprompter, it is not understood from there that you are in power or will come to power. If the front of the district building is closed to traffic when you have no intention, and you are speaking to 1,500-2,000 people from an orange crate; it means the party is heading to power!

Under the heaviest attack in the party's history, to cut off the party's march to power, to prevent the party from coming to power, the party's politicians are facing the greatest slander campaign in history; the party's presidential candidate, 16 mayors are in dungeons; whoever keeps the party standing, whoever gets it on its feet is under attack, under insult; the state is serving one party with all its means; there are a thousand kinds of plots, lies, slanders, blackmail, and threats, but come and look at the group meeting of that main opposition party under attack, look at the group meeting!

"FACING REALITY COMES WITH TAKING TO THE STREETS"

On the third anniversary of February 6, we were in Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Adıyaman, and Malatya. We were with our citizens. We held 55 different programs in total over a week in these six provinces. Once again, I wish God's mercy upon those we lost and offer my condolences to the earthquake zone, our nation, and all of Turkey. It is easy politics for those who do not leave cool salons in summer and warm ones in winter, and who do politics by making their appointees applaud without going out to the square, but their work will be difficult from now on. Facing reality comes with taking to the streets.

It is not politics to set up a 10-million-lira stage in Osmaniye and rant in the composition I described earlier, or to make those who experienced the earthquake and saw that place watch videos. Without going to the container city, without seeing those children with feet in the mud, without listening to the tearful tenant; without listening to those who say, 'My house was given but I cannot move in, I have no money for renovations, I have no money for dues, I have no job'; without crying with the victims of force majeure, without listening to the poor about how the obstacles in front of the search for justice of those who lost their relatives favor AK Party contractors, the rich, and the bigwigs of that city, you cannot do politics with tarpaulins, money, and posters. The era of politics with tarpaulins is the era of the collapse of the Justice and Development Party; the sincere politics of the Republican People's Party, from the heart and on the streets, is a sign of the establishment of a new power.

"HE HAD GONE TO COMPLIMENT SISI, AND WE WERE IN THE EARTHQUAKE ZONE"

There is nothing to be surprised about. Last week, everyone was with their loved ones. We were in Islahiye, Nurdağı, Osmaniye, the districts and towns of Malatya, and our Kahramanmaraş. Mr. Erdoğan was also with the Saudi Arabian Prince, whom he called a 'bloodthirsty murderer' but then embraced like a 'brother' when America gave the signal and he saw the tip of the dollar. He had gone to embrace Sisi, whom he called a 'coup plotter,' and to pay compliments to Sisi, to whom he said, 'I would be dishonorable if I greeted him,' and 'I would legitimize him if I were in the same hall'; and we were in the earthquake zone.

"THE HOUSING CRISIS CONTINUES"

The pain is still fresh. 270 thousand people are living in containers. The housing crisis continues, and the grievances regarding reserve areas and force majeure persist. The problems in education and health are at an unbearable level. And today, reports from organizations conducting research in the earthquake zone have started to arrive.

In other words, the perception operation carried out for those 11 provinces in 70 provinces does not see much of a response in 70 provinces, but in the answers to the questions asked to the 11 cities, let alone the satisfaction of the citizen; the reaction of those who live the reality of what is told, especially those who are shown as if everything is fine, emerged in the work in the earthquake zone. We will watch it all together, we will follow it all together.

On one side, from the day we arrived, the first morning in Osmaniye at 10:45; we started our speech by saying 'May God be pleased with' all the politicians and all the laborers who contributed, from those who removed gravel from the rubble in the earthquake to those who dug the foundation for a new house or placed the last tile. I said this in every city. He broke away from Egypt and Sisi, and in Osmaniye, he said: 'These are earthquake tourists.' And he also said, 'He doesn't just say it about the CHP, he does injustice to the entire opposition; 'They just took a photo a while after the earthquake and left, they never stopped by again,' he said.

'They were never in this region again,' he said. Of course, as someone who makes him check the multiplication table even if Mr. Erdoğan says 'two times two is four,' I immediately counted: With the state's 13 planes, all the helicopters of the police, gendarmerie, and forestry at the disposal of the region, it has gone 34 times. When he said these words, the Chairman of the Republican People's Party had completed his 55th visit and arrived!

Counting every visit made each day to each city as a separate visit, I have been in the earthquake zone 55 times; more than half of them in the capacity of group deputy chairman, and the rest in the capacity of chairman... But Erdoğan turned around there and said this: 'They were not in the earthquake zone, they were not in the rubble. They did not provide any help here, they did not bring even a single work.'

I would like to remind you of this: Preparing our cities for disasters, effective intervention during disasters, post-disaster recovery, and getting cities back on their feet is the job of the central government. Huge taxes are collected from the nation for this. Our nation also paid this thinking 'it will go to the earthquake zone'; they asked for motor vehicle taxes twice, they paid; they doubled the VAT, they paid; SCTs increased, they paid; exit fees for traveling abroad increased, they paid. And whatever is being done there is done within these means, but he turns around, makes people watch videos, and says: 'The main opposition did not go, did not do it; we did everything,' he says. What did I say to him? I said to him: 'If you say what I don't deserve, you will hear what you deserve.' One, first he said, 'Republican People's Party municipalities did not do anything.'

Normally we know we did these, but we didn't say them until Tayyip Bey said 'they didn't do it.' Look, it passed with frames in the first moment a while ago; we saw it here, but I don't know how much it was seen from the television, let me remind you of this part:

In the first days of the earthquake, it was even a subject of criticism in the media, we had also said at first, 'Oh, will it make us lose time?'; thank God they did it that way. They said: 'Whatever municipality, whatever institution takes whatever to the earthquake zone, they will notify AFAD. These earthquake aids will be delivered to the region under the supervision of AFAD.'

Look, AFAD in his hand; I have been reading them one by one for a week. What you see here, by notifying AFAD's records; we were in the earthquake zone with 9,638 vehicles and 28,521 personnel. We took everything from food to health supplies, from tents to bags with 7,200 trucks, 4 planes, and 6 ships. We set up 155 mobile kitchens wherever AFAD said 'set it up.' We put 163 catering vehicles wherever AFAD said 'let it stay.' We set up 18 mobile bakeries to distribute hot bread. We delivered nearly 3 million blankets, 266 thousand heaters, 2,220 generators, 4 million 600 thousand hygiene packages, 50 thousand tents, and 1,810 containers with AFAD's knowledge.

'He has no permanent work,' he says. And they give this information, and columnists write it as if it were true: 'Does he have any permanent work? Sir, Konya Municipality did this, did the CHP leave even a single permanent work?' 67 permanent works flowed and went. Inside, there is KİPTAŞ's living space for 1,000 people, and an 18,000-square-meter Life Valley in Samandağ; Çatdere Bridge, Adıyaman's Çatdere Bridge was rebuilt for 300 million liras by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. There is also a Life Valley in Gölbaşı. Mersin Metropolitan Municipality built a new 4.5-kilometer Mersin Street with a width of 40 meters, which eased all of Adıyaman's traffic. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality is building the Ferdi Zeyrek Children's Culture and Art Center in a 4,000-square-meter closed area.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is building the Ferdi Zeyrek Mosque in Fuat Polat Neighborhood. Muğla Metropolitan Municipality; Hekimana Cemevi multi-purpose facility, Women's Family Youth Center in Doğanşehir, Arapgir Culture and Condolence House, multi-purpose social facility in Arguvan. ASKİ teams in Kahramanmaraş repaired 15 kilometers of water lines. In addition, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality; it is about to complete the construction of a 24-classroom school in Akçadağ Ören, which started as 16 classrooms. Izmir, Istanbul, and Ankara metropolitan municipalities each built a school in Elazığ. Istanbul's has opened, Ankara's is finished and waiting for the opening, Izmir's is 70% under construction.

'If you had done a permanent work,' he says. 'Özgür Özel would have told these by exaggerating,' he says. We haven't told what we have done until today; until the day Tayyip Erdoğan came out and said 'they didn't do anything.' But but... God will confuse, God has no stick, God will show his existence to those who lie like this; play the video that Erdoğan played last week, which all AK Party members shared, stop it right there, Uğurcuğum.

"IT SAYS ANTALYA METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY ON IT"

He says, right here in the video: 'Infrastructure works were continued at full speed. There was no CHP at the beginning and end.' The friends who did the infrastructure work he boasts about have 'Antalya Metropolitan' written on them! Look, the logo of this grader is 'ASAT', Antalya Water and Wastewater Administration General Directorate! Here, 'Antalya Metropolitan Municipality' is also written on the cable laying vehicle. Justice and Development Party presents with pride, with pride!

I swear, God makes it get tangled in their feet like this. Why? It hurts his pride, it hurts his pride! Wherever I went with the citizen there, in Kahramanmaraş, Mansur Yavaş... You mention his name, the applause starts and doesn't end, you watched it on live broadcast, on live broadcast!

In Hatay, IMM Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan says, 'Ekrem İmamoğlu sends his greetings'; he is applauded standing for minutes. Mersin Metropolitan Municipality is everywhere in Adıyaman, but in the Yaylakonak district, the first rescue team to reach Adıyaman with a phone call, in the Yaylakonak town, and those who see him at the door are overwhelmed with tears; he has become a national hero in Adıyaman.

The Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality cannot walk on the street in Malatya. He is on shoulders in Hatay with what he did when he was the Mayor of Muğla, and in Malatya with what he is doing now. Whichever Mayor we look at, Eskişehir, Tekirdağ... They have entered everyone's hearts with what they have done. But he looks, he turns, this; this is how God makes it get tangled in your feet when you do it with lies and slander to the other 70, while you are in the hearts of the nation; God makes it get tangled in your feet like this, God makes it get tangled in your feet like this.

And we do these without taking any resources, any participation fee, anything from the citizen. Whereas, as I said a while ago; increasing taxes, repeatedly collected taxes, Motor Vehicles, VAT, SCT, exit fees for traveling abroad, domestic campaigns, international campaigns... A total of 71.5 billion dollars has been collected since the earthquake. They announced it themselves: 'We spent 40 billion dollars on earthquake houses.' So it means we still have 31 billion. Of course, it doesn't end with housing, of course, that money will be spent; maybe it won't be enough. But we have already collected 40 billion.

"COME ON, SINCE THIS MONEY HAS BEEN COLLECTED, LET'S TEAR UP THOSE BLANK PROMISSORY NOTES"

But he puts a contract in front of the earthquake victim, 'point point TL with point point interest...' 'Draw a line through the interest,' you say, when you draw it, they take back the key. Newly, 'When it is a disaster law, no tax is taken, no interest is taken.' Yes, you say 'reserve area is outside of that,' you say 'shops are outside of that,' you say 'you only do this in what TOKİ built, on-site transformation is outside of this.'

Therefore, therefore, this is my sincere call to Erdoğan from here; I will make another call, this is the first call of this day: Come on, since this money has been collected, let's tear up those blank promissory notes after this time. I will say I sincerely thank Mr. Erdoğan at the group meeting next week; I promise!

If it is left to Erdoğan, 2 years without payment, it will be paid for 18 years; he will take TEFE TÜFE from those who do not enter the disaster law, he will take interest. We are calling for those blank promissory notes, those blank promissory notes that confuse the citizen's mind, to be torn up.

"WHILE WHAT THEY DID IN İLİÇ IS OBVIOUS, HE TRIED TO PLAGUE ISTANBUL"

Unfortunately, February 13 is also the second anniversary of the mining disaster in the İliç district of Erzincan, where we lost 9 lives. The Minister of Environment of the period, Murat Kurum; while his very clear mistake was there, while all the responsibility was on him with the signature he threw there, when his document was taken out and shown from here when he denied it, instead of resigning, instead of apologizing, he went and aspired to Istanbul, became a candidate. While what he did in İliç was obvious, he tried to plague Istanbul. Thank God, the people of Istanbul looked at both sides of the shroud, weighed it correctly; weighed it correctly.

"HERE IS THE MODEL OF ISTANBUL FOR YOU, YOU CAN PLAY AT HOME"

Tayyip Bey put a Prime Minister against Ekrem Mayor in Istanbul, it didn't work, he put a Parliament Speaker, it didn't work, they said 'Kurum knows these jobs,' they put Murat Kurum there... You know, he says 'CHP cannot even make a model of the houses I built,' trying to show off with the state's money. In the first election, the people of Istanbul said to Murat Kurum with a margin of over 1 million 100 thousand when they saw Murat Kurum, 13 thousand in the first, 800 thousand in the second: 'Murat Kurum, these jobs are not your cup of tea; here is the model of Istanbul for you, you can play at home,' they said.

"WE WILL NEVER LEAVE THEM ALONE IN THEIR LEGAL STRUGGLES"

Today, our group has followed the İliç disaster most closely and sincerely from the first day to the present, both as legal support and humanitarian solidarity. The father of our brother Uğur Yıldız, who lost his life, Ali Ekber Yılmaz, and his family are among us. We share their pain once again. We will never leave them alone in their legal struggles.

"THEY WANT TO PRIVATIZE TWO BOSPHORUS BRIDGES AND 7 HIGHWAYS"

Dear citizens, 86% of the privatizations in our Republican history, 86% of the privatizations made since 1986, were made during the AK Party period. They sold the sugar factories. They sold thermal power plants, ports, whatever they found. Now they want to privatize two Bosphorus bridges and 7 highways.

There is no official statement, finally, one of the municipal council members in the IMM let the cat out of the bag, but the preparations are known and they are not denying it anyway. They have given the authority for the sale to the British firm Ernst & Young. They have also made the Canadian BTY group a technical consultant. The income of the two bridges and 7 highways just last year was 600 million dollars. Maintenance cost is 2%. You spend two, you make 98% profit. Now here for 3 billion dollars... That is, to take 5 years of income in advance...

Look, you will already take one, and you will take the second one during your term if it is at election time as you insist. They are killing the goose that lays the golden eggs to take the 3-year income of our term from today. And the price will be paid heavily by the citizen. Very clear. The toll for the bridge to be sold is 59 liras. Currently, that is, the toll for the bridge whose foundation was laid in 1973, the bridge we are currently using, is 59 liras. The toll for the bridge they built with the PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model with a passage guarantee is 995 liras. They will sell this bridge for 59 liras, the buyer will make the toll for this bridge at least 590 liras.

Look at the Izmir-Çeşme highway. The highway built with the state's money, which the late Özal opened by saying 'Semra, play the cassette so our mood will be better,' currently charges 53 liras between Izmir and Çeşme. On the highway built with their model, not 100 kilometers to Çeşme, go 103 kilometers towards Akhisar; 365 liras are charged. The cost to the citizen between the two models; you know he says 'we did it with a passage guarantee without a penny coming out of our pocket.' If the citizen passes, they pay, if they don't pass, the state completes and pays. 100 kilometers is 53 liras on the Özal highway; now they will privatize this. On the highway that Tayyip Bey built and boasts about, it is 365 liras. There is a 7-fold difference. And when the Izmir-Çeşme highway is privatized, Izmir-Çeşme will also go up to 365 liras with the same model.

"THE GENTLEMAN IS DOUBLING THE TREASON"

When Mr. Erdoğan tried to sell these bridges in 2012, the citizens stood up. He had said, 'We are looking.' A bid of 5.7 billion had come... 5.7 billion dollars! Erdoğan had said: 'It would be treason to sell it for less than 7 billion.' Currently, he is selling the same bridges for 3.5 billion dollars. The gentleman is doubling the treason.

"THE MONEY CURRENTLY IN CIRCULATION IS NOT THE REPUTATION OF THE TURKISH NATION. MR. ERDOĞAN, IT IS YOUR REPUTATION"

Inflation is like a nightmare over the nation. Last week, TÜİK announced the figures. By not making the raises in the previous month and by carefully selecting the prices, with the superior efforts of TÜİK and Mehmet Şimşek, inflation was calculated at 30.6 percent so that the retiree and the state civil servant would receive a low inflation raise. This month, inflation came out at 4.8 percent. In other words, if this had come out last month, they would have given everyone 3-4 percent more. They did it to steal from the pension of that sister who nods her head. They did this trick to steal 3.5 percent from the raise that those state civil servants would receive.

Now they are making up excuses for 4.8 percent inflation: 'The weather was cold in January, that's why the inflation rate came out high.' I am saying this to the one who says this; in January 2025, last year, the hottest January of the last 55 years had passed, inflation came out at 5 percent. It came out at 4.8 percent in the cold. It means you always pull the same trick in December and pile December on top of that in January, and this business happens because of this.

They had given a 12 percent raise to the retiree for the first six months, they stole half of it like this. The purchasing power of the minimum wage earner also fell by 2,000 liras in one month with this inflation. In other words, they had made it 28,000 liras after a fight, currently, the purchasing power of the minimum wage remains at 26,000 liras.

Now what was Erdoğan saying in 2013, what did he say? 'Money is the reputation of a nation.' We do not accept this. The money currently in circulation is not the reputation of the Turkish nation. Mr. Erdoğan, it is your reputation. Because in the year he said that, you had given 200 liras to the journalists together with the late Kadir Topbaş after a holiday prayer, he was giving it then. 'Take it, take it,' he was saying, 'holiday money is taken.' The 200 liras given in 2013 bought one and a half quarter gold coins. He gave 200 liras to the earthquake victim and his father; look friends, they did it with tweezers, it buys 0.03 grams of gold. One and a half grams of gold, one and a half quarter gold coins; 0.03 grams of gold.

In 2013, 200 liras bought 8 kilos of ground meat, now it buys 150 grams of ground meat. Look, 8 packs, inside the pack, look here like an eye... It buys ground meat as much as an egg yolk. In 2013, 200 liras bought 200 simits, now it buys 10 simits. Mr. Erdoğan, excuse me, the reputation of this money is not our Turkish nation's, it is your reputation, my brother.

"OUR BUSINESS IS NOT CURSING, BUT THIS NATION PRAYS EVERY EVENING FOR YOU TO GET OFF ITS BACK"

There is great benefit in testing Erdoğan with history and telling this nation with his own words. I will continue to show this both as it is in the 200 liras and with the words he said in the past every week and remained under. Look, he says what did he say on November 30, 2005? It became a newspaper headline: November 30, 2005. 'If you are buying less bread than 3 years ago, curse me.' If you are buying less bread with your salary than 3 years ago, curse me. The year is 2005. He compares it to the year 2002 and says 'curse me' if you are buying less than 3 years ago.

In 2026, 1,300 loaves of bread are bought with a pension, 3 years ago 1,500 loaves of bread were bought. What does he say? 'Curse me.' Our business is not cursing, but this nation prays every evening for you to get off its back, especially the retirees.

I said to my friends: 'Oh children, he says 3 years ago, but also compare it with the date he said.' On the date he said, a minimum wage earner was buying 2,450 loaves of bread, now he is buying 1,800 loaves of bread. And there was no raise in bread, and the minimum wage also just increased. It becomes 1,800 with this new 28,000 liras, on the day he said that word, he was buying 2,450 loaves of bread. For this, cursing does not suit our mouths, but let us all pray together every evening for Erdoğan to get off the back of the minimum wage earner and the retiree. Every evening, let us all pray together!

MESUT ÖZARSLAN'S RESIGNATION PROCESS

Dear friends, let's come to a hot topic. This government disturbed the peace of the nation, shrunk its bread, and as a result, it was defeated for the first time in the last elections it entered.

In the first election we entered, we had promised that; we had said that just as the late Ecevit led his party in the 1970s to come out first in all four elections, two local and two general, if I become the chairman of the party and do not come out first in an election, I will leave my post, I will take the party to the convention.

5 months later, we took our first exam. Thank God, with the effort and great endeavors of all of you, we made our party the first party after 47 years. We also introduced Erdoğan to defeat for the first time at the head of his party. He used to say this to Mr. Devlet: 'He passed Türkeş's place, it will reach 30 years, he is constantly losing, he is still standing. Come on, he says, are you in; let the one who cannot come out as the first party in these elections leave his party.' He was turning and saying it to Mr. Kemal, he was saying it to other political rivals. This year, last year, he doesn't open his mouth because he didn't come out first in the elections. He never talks about leaving the post.

Of course, we won 65 percent of Turkey. We won the entire Aegean. We managed to be the only party that has a municipality in one region... in every region. Of course, in Ankara, we increased our number from two municipalities for years, three municipalities in the election period before the last, four municipalities just before the election, to 16. We must acknowledge his right. We must acknowledge the right of that process with our Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş... Sometimes we sat together in the candidate determination process, going and coming four or five times a day with the polls in his hand, we listened to our organization. In some places, we conducted polls, in some places, special studies were carried out.

But something happened that no one believed; in a place where it was said that the CHP could not go above three municipalities, we won 16 municipalities. One of them was Keçiören Municipality. Many allegations were brought to the agenda about the Keçiören Mayor during his term of office. I called him to our Headquarters three times with a special agenda. And I said: 'These allegations exist, what do you say to this?' He... I said: 'If you have a fault, tell me now, we have no business with those who commit corruption. Turkey has pinned its hopes on us, if there is something you are afraid of, tell us this and do what is necessary.'

He said that all of what was said was slander, that he was never involved in corruption or theft, with such oaths here, especially Mansur Chairman and our 15 mayors, 14 mayors, everyone is a witness; to each of us, to everyone who asked, with such big, big, big oaths, by adding his children to the oaths, by adding his family to those terrible oaths and proofs, he denied everything by saying everything. Until three days ago, until three days ago!

Then the information coming from everywhere is that he had secret meetings with the AK Party, that he would pass here... We learn later that, for example, a municipal council member says to Mansur Chairman a month ago; he offered to me, 'If I pass to the AK Party, would you come with me?' His name is clear, his object is clear, his day is clear. And such things that a completely different, completely different witness will come for this now, there is a surprise witness group for this.

And we learn that he will join the AK Party on Wednesday. Phones are being opened, he doesn't open the provincial chairman's phones, he doesn't open his friends' phones, he is running away from the city. His closest ones say 'yes, he was joining.' And upon this, upon this, I call him on the phone a day before. A thousand and one oaths! The praises he said to me 'Don't say such things'... Starting with 'You are the greatest leader who has come to the head of the party after Atatürk,' with swear words to himself 'Am I such a dishonorable person, am I such a point point, am I such a whatever'...

The next day he turns off his phones. And upon this, since I could not reach him by phone, I send him a message. Those messages, those messages that 'sir, he cursed at my mother...' God forbid! What mother, the mother who gave birth to you is ashamed because he mixes his mother into every word. Because he mixes his mother into every word! Other than that, what I will say is directed at personality identification. If I have an intention directed at the family, may God punish me. But some people there are also saying falsely; 'he cursed at our national values, he cursed at this...' he will do something... 'He cursed at our sacred values, he cursed at my family.' Prove one, prove one!

HE READ THE MESSAGES ONE BY ONE

Look, not mine, the one he leaked... If I were to leak this, I would speak accordingly, right? Look at the messaging, look at the messaging, which I will be very afraid of, very ashamed of.

Where is the CHP Chairman? Where are some people? What kind of party is the CHP? What kind of party are some people? The document leaked against us and supposedly to be given to the court; you are in such a mistake; you are trying to enter the bosom of those you called thieves yesterday, those you called base, those who called you a thief, those who attacked you. They are deceiving you, my son, they are deceiving you.

If I have a fault, if I have a theft... If you have a fault, if you have a theft... I wouldn't digest this anyway. But if you are going to those who digest you with your theft, you are already on the wrong path.

Now these are the ones I will be ashamed of and his proofs... The transcripts of the conversations that passed between us, what I said to him and what he said, which he leaked:

'You came to me and said: 'Chairman, there is no fault in me, no flaw, they are lying, they are slandering, don't ever believe them. Trust me, I didn't eat the rights of the people, I didn't take bribes, I didn't commit theft,' you said.

And I believed you. Now you are surrendering to those who don't believe you, supposedly to those who slander you. Or by going to them, you are confessing that you lied to me, that you are actually a thief.

I don't want to believe this. I want to see the Mesut whose eyes were shining like fire that day and who said he believed. But I understand that that Mesut was also a lie. I understood that you were a thief.

And you are trying to save yourself by compromising with those who know your theft, those who see your theft. Then you have found what you deserve.

Know this Mesut; I need the Mesut who comes to me, to my room, with eyes shining, speaking properly, and saying I was not involved in thieves, rent, bribery.

If that Mesut deceived me, then may that Mesut's path be open. I never, ever have business with a thief, with the corrupt. The AK Party has business. Those who embrace you, those who embrace you; those who file a criminal complaint about you swallow what they said, such a thing does not happen with us.

The era is not the era of thieves. The era is not the AK Party's era. That era is ending. When our revolution begins, even if you beg, even if you plead, I will not forgive you after this time. Even if you return, I will not forgive you. You have confessed right now that you are a thief, that you are corrupt, that you are base. You took refuge in those who say these words, you turned your back on those who defended you; you made your choice. Since you were a thief, why did you stall us? May your path be open.

But the day will come, the era will turn, you will fall into my hands. If I pity you that day, I am dishonorable.'

"THE CHP CHAIRMAN'S ATTITUDE TOWARD THEFT AND THE AK PARTY'S APPROACH ARE OBVIOUS"

These are the correspondences he took from Mr. Mesut's phone and said he would give to the court, and sent to the press. The CHP Chairman's; knowing that it would remain secret between two people, and his attitude toward theft and corruption in the correspondences he leaked, and the AK Party's approach are obvious.

Now there are witnesses here. You know he says 'The Chairman wrote this to me, wrote that to me, that's why I'm changing parties, otherwise I wouldn't have changed.' Everyone knows, we all know... Are there Ankaragücü fans here, Ankaragücü fans?

HE ANNOUNCED THE OFFER ÖZARSLAN MADE TO ANKARAGÜCÜ

Now, the leaders and prominent figures of the three tribune groups of this Ankaragücü; Gecekondu, Sol Açık, and Bekar Evi Çocukları are here. They told us they wanted to enter the Parliament with 3,000 people, but Aylin Hanım (Ankara Deputy Aylin Nazlıaka) could only get this many in.

It is open to all agencies: ANKA, Anadolu Agency, Doğan News Agency, İhlas News Agency... You can talk to them in the garden. Just yesterday to the tribune leaders; thinking that this business will come out and this disgrace will explode and the nation will break us, he will excuse it, trusting the guarantee he received on Sunday, he says: 'I am joining the AK Party group on Wednesday, stand by us as Ankaragücü. I will meet all your needs.' What did the tribune leader say? 'Let me take 10 thousand dollars a month from you too!' Go ahead, do the interview, give it as breaking news! Go ahead!

"HE IS TRYING TO HIRE PEOPLE TO CHANT SLOGANS FOR HIMSELF"

Ask the Ankaragücü tribune leaders. He knows that he cannot take a matchstick from the CHP behind him when he passes on Wednesday. He thinks he will buy the glorious, honorable club of Atatürk, the club that carries Atatürk with pride on its chest, with money; he is trying to hire people to chant slogans for himself. Whereas Ankaragücü stands behind its honorable past, not such shamelessness! Behind Atatürk's party!

"THIS TOSUNCUK HAS ALSO TAKEN THE NATION'S HALAL VOTES AND IS TRYING TO RUN AWAY"

Now there are two issues here, much to be talked about, much talked about... There is this Tosuncuk, right, Tosuncuk (Çiftlik Bank emphasis), you know a Tosuncuk took the nation's money and ran away. This Tosuncuk has also taken the nation's halal votes and is trying to run away!

Now; AKP Council Member Fatih Ünal; filed a criminal complaint about him with 'rigging the tender' and various accusations in files numbered 207871, 864, 115177, and 115178. Osman Gökçek (Ankara Deputy); they filed criminal complaints about him with file number 115707.

And when I called him on Friday evening, he said to me: 'I won't do that, that much gold... Send a tweet, I have a job on Monday, wouldn't it be possible if I waited for that?' he said. Yesterday, the prosecutor's investigation regarding his period... or rather, an inspector was assigned regarding whether or not to give permission for the investigation.

And the former Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok says: 'Keçiören Mayor who goes door to door to change parties,' he says. He says: 'For example, how does the tender for the water square with light and sound shows on the parking lot, which was offered to please someone for the sake of changing parties, go to a firm?' he says. That is, he says: 'You are going door to door to join our party and for this, you are giving the tender to one of us, to one of the AK Party, alone,' he says.

"THOSE WHO RESIST LIE LIKE LIONS, THE OTHER RUNS AWAY AND JOINS THE AK PARTY"

I asked many times. They say 'This Portaş, etc.' How many times was this Portaş audited? What inspectors came and went. But what is not in Portaş but is in him, what he is afraid of, or this high-heeled dandy had it; the man says the same thing to everyone. Those who resist lie like lions; they lie like Zeydan Chairman (Zeydan Karalar) and come out, the other runs away and joins the AK Party!

"YOU ARE IN A DISHONORABLE POLITICS"

I am asking the AK Party. If what Turgut Altınok, Osman Gökçek, or Fatih Ünal said about him is slander, you were caught red-handed in this slander politics, right? If Mesut is a clean man, you were caught red-handed in slander.

Mesut, if this slander is true, if these allegations are true, if Mesut is dirty, then you are in a dishonorable politics that is enough to clean this when he comes to you with an operation threat while the man is dirty, just like Aydın. Come on!

Come on Tayyip Bey, come on! Make the announcement tomorrow, put on the badge. Will you confess your dishonor of slandering, or your dishonor of whitewashing when the thief comes to you? Put on the badge, let me see! Put on the badge, let me see!

You cannot stop this march to power with two swindlers, slander, false witnesses, and defamation. It is this clear, look, the leader of the main opposition is speaking openly in front of you: You will confess one of the two truths. You were caught red-handed.

While you were trying to do business with this Mesut, you revealed yourself in all the business you did and in the politics you will do from now on. Let the nation see what these are from here.

"THIS BUSINESS HAS NO RIGHTIST OR LEFTIST, THIS BUSINESS HAS THE HONEST AND THE DISHONEST!"

As for us... Some columnists wrote today: "Sir, won't those who nominate make self-criticism, won't they do this or that..." Look, if a self-criticism is to be made, I will make them all. They all belong to me. Why?

We have worked separately for each city. We made the party the first party after 47 years. We took 65% of the municipalities. We broke records in places where it was said it couldn't be taken. After that, when one rotten seed, one broken piece, one whatever happens, you will open your mouth, a group...

Conservative Democrats, Nationalist Democrats, who have done politics in other parties in the past, under the Crescent and Star Red Flag, whose colors met in the Turkey Alliance, all of them as if they were the same evil...

Where did the High-Heeled Efe come to us from, friends? We came from the Women's Branches; from our branches, from our parliamentarianism. The Mayor of Şehitkamil in Gaziantep, his seven generations are CHP members. This business has no rightist or leftist, this business has the honest and the dishonest!

"THE PARTY MARCHING TO POWER ALSO HAS ITS RIGHTS AND WRONGS"

I take responsibility for all the decisions made. I take responsibility for all the decisions made. When you take 65% of the municipalities, you will have a convoy, you will stand for the dance; when one rotten seed piece breaks, you will turn around and do "self-criticism, self-criticism."

The party marching to power also has its rights and wrongs. The rotten ones are separated, and one marches to power with the sound ones. One marches to power with the sound ones!

One does not go to power with the rotten seed Mesut, but one goes with Zeydan! One goes with Mansur Yavaş! One goes with Ekrem Chairman! One goes with honest, hardworking Atatürkists, Nationalists, Conservatives, rightists, leftists, Kurds, Turks, Alevis, Sunnis, honest people, brave people! Come on Chairman, let's march to power, let's march to power!
