Özgür Özel has determined his 'A-Team'! Here is the CHP's new Central Executive Board...

The new MYK members of the Republican People's Party (CHP), which has left its 38th Ordinary Convention behind, have been determined.

The names who will serve in the new term MYK were decided at the Party Assembly (PM) meeting held under the chairmanship of Özgür Özel.

At the first meeting of the High Disciplinary Board held after the convention, the elections for the High Disciplinary Board Presidency, Vice Presidency, and Secretariat took place.

As a result of the election held by secret ballot, Turan Taşkın Özer was elected as the President of the High Disciplinary Board, Ayça Akpek Şenay as the Vice President of the High Disciplinary Board, and Deniz Çakır as the Secretary of the High Disciplinary Board.

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL ANNOUNCED HIS 'A-TEAM'

Following the meeting, Özel appeared before the cameras and made statements.

Highlights from Özel's statements are as follows:

"We have only one criterion in determining our mayoral candidates; those who have won the hearts of the people and are in a better position than the day they were elected will be candidates again. If the service they have provided does not receive public approval, their situations will be re-evaluated.

I have no intention of punishing any mayor for being against 'change' and not giving them the duty they deserve.

The Central Executive Board consists of 24 members. We have 24 deputy chairmen friends. There are 2 groups in the MYK; one of them is the shadow cabinet."

MYK EXPANDED TO 24 MEMBERS

In addition to the MYK members, a 'Shadow Cabinet' was also formed at the meeting to monitor the work and shortcomings of the ministries in the government.

Selin Sayek Böke was appointed as the Shadow Cabinet Coordinator.
