"Dear citizens, we greet you all with respect as the Republican People's Party. Welcome, all of you.

We are together after a busy week of work. As Labor Day approached on May 1st, we first visited Türk-İş. Then, due to the Hak-İş visit and the funeral of the esteemed Chairman's sister—I wish him condolences once again—it was postponed to this week.

The next day, on May 1st, we came together with tens and hundreds of thousands at Kadıköy Rıhtım Square upon the call of DİSK, KESK, TMMOB, and the Turkish Medical Association, showed our solidarity, and together we made a pact for May 1st next year. We will all be in Taksim on May 1st next year.

Since it coincided with our group meeting last week, we could not attend the Constitutional Court's anniversary ceremony. On Wednesday, we visited our Constitutional Court President, Mr. Kadir Özkaya, and our court members, and conveyed our congratulations.

"EVEN TÜİK ANNOUNCED INFLATION AT 4.8 PERCENT"

On the day we launched the mobilization with all our staff, new inflation data was announced. Monthly inflation in April was announced by TÜİK as 4.8%. Even TÜİK announced monthly inflation as 4.8%. Annual inflation rose from 30 to 32.4. In other words, according to even TÜİK, a good or service that cost 100 liras this time last year has risen to an average of 132 liras. On top of this, there is a 23-24 percent income tax. What is that? You know you withdraw your salary from the ATM, the tax deducted from it before you withdraw it. And if you have a deposit in the bank, the tax deducted from that deposit at the end of the month before you withdraw it. This also comes to 23-24 percent; it comes to 88-89 percent. The remaining 11 percent is corporate tax. In other words, the one who really earns, the one who has made a profit... Corporate tax is paid from profit. The tax they will pay from the profit they make is 11 percent, the tax we all pay is 89 percent. This is the AK Party's chaotic order in taxation. "TURKEY IS NOT EVALUATING THE EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY"

But if you look at who you are standing side by side with, Europe sees, the world sees that those who are supported together with Orban in Hungary, whose name is mentioned together with Modi in India, who support the political extensions of those who burn our kinsmen alive in the German elections, say Erdoğan in Turkey while saying Shara in Syria. We are at such a point that the Trump administration is diverging from Europe, trying to leave NATO, turning to its own areas of competition. In such a situation, everyone, because Turkey has the largest army after America in NATO, was expecting, the whole world was saying that Turkey's weight would increase, that Europe could open new areas for Turkey due to rising security concerns, that a new opportunity would emerge for Turkey.

In Europe, in Germany, or in other democracies of Europe, those who support the far-right are keeping their distance from Erdoğan, whom they support, and they are constantly reminding him of democracy, European values, respect for human rights, and consistency, which I will remind those who didn't care at all when we said it before, in a little while.

Because of this government, which has been made arbitrary, personalized, and indexed only to Trump in foreign policy, our country is being excluded from the European system. Europe is turning to increase its own defense power within itself. After France, Germany is also giving open support to Greece.

Greece is being declared a strategic partner in the field of defense. Russia is supposedly following a neutral policy towards us today, but everyone knows how Putin's grudge and ambition have accumulated.

China, on the other hand, has pulled itself to a place extraordinarily distant from Turkey. In other words, this government has lost its legitimacy in the world, it cannot find it. That is why that insolent ambassador of the US, while defining legitimacy that day, had crossed his legs showing his socks at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, saying democracy doesn't work here. He says legitimacy is needed here. It is enough that they don't commit massacres. We used to call these places human rights, democracy, we were wrong. He says strong single men are needed here.
