Within the scope of the operation carried out in the morning hours, detention warrants were issued for 35 people, including Manavgat Mayor Niyazi Nefi Kara.
INVESTIGATION INTO MAYOR KARA
It was stated that Manavgat Mayor Niyazi Nefi Kara and deputy mayors were detained by the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) department and
the municipality building was surrounded by riot police teams.
The allegations are reported to include corruption, bribery, and bid rigging.
