Cabinet meeting to be held today: What is on the agenda?
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will chair the Cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace today. In addition to economic developments, the Cabinet's agenda will include teachers awaiting appointment. Furthermore, the process regarding Turkey's decision to intervene in the case brought by South Africa against Israel at the International Court of Justice will also be evaluated.
The Cabinet meeting will take place today at the Presidential Palace, chaired by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The meeting will evaluate the effects of the export restrictions Turkey has imposed on Israel across 54 product groups.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTS
Another agenda item for the meeting will be developments in the economy.
The April inflation figures announced by TUIK, foreign trade data, the upgrade of Turkey's credit rating, and steps to be taken against businesses engaging in exorbitant pricing will be discussed.
The meeting will also evaluate the process regarding Turkey's decision to intervene in the case brought by South Africa against Israel at the International Court of Justice.
NUMBER OF TEACHERS TO BE APPOINTED AND THEIR BRANCHES
Teacher appointments are also expected to be on the agenda of the Cabinet meeting. An assessment will be made regarding the number of teachers to be appointed and the quota distributions by branch.
The latest situation in counter-terrorism operations will also be addressed at the meeting.
