Cabinet responds to Özgür Özel's red card
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır responded to CHP leader Özgür Özel, who showed a red card to the AKP government.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır attended a groundbreaking ceremony in Istanbul.
Speaking at the event, Kacır responded to the red card shown by Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel.
Minister Kacır stated, "The opposition leader has come out and shown a cardboard red card. Trying to send the nation's representatives, those elected by the nation, out of the game is an old habit. They have never been able to accept the national will. But they don't realize that Turkey is not the old Turkey. What era are they living in? It is clear that they are completely unaware of why and where Turkey has arrived. Turkey is now in a different league. If you want to see a card, look at the computer card of the 5th generation National Combat Aircraft KAAN, which was developed by Turkey's own engineers and flown by its own children. Our colleagues at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM developed it."
