Canan Kaftancıoğlu hits back at FETÖ fugitive: 'You FETÖist scumbag!'

The removal of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency administration by court order and its replacement with a committee led by Gürsel Tekin has sparked a wave of reactions. While it was alleged that some former provincial presidents supported Tekin, Canan Kaftancıoğlu, who was among those claimed to be involved, denied the allegation and stated she did not stand with Tekin.

However, FETÖ fugitive Tarık Toros, who broadcasts on YouTube, made harsh remarks about Canan Kaftancıoğlu on his channel. Stating that Kaftancıoğlu is a very powerful figure, Toros targeted the former provincial president by saying that although she did not openly stand with Gürsel Tekin, she did not close the doors to him either.

'YOU ALL STARTED IN A CHORUS'

Canan Kaftancıoğlu gave a harsh response to Toros on her social media account. In her post, Kaftancıoğlu said, "I apologize in advance for my language... You FETÖist scumbag! Since last night, you have all started in a chorus from the inside and the outside. I read what I wrote again; I understand criticism, but I still don't understand 'what is it to you?'"

Emphasizing that she is neither a collaborator nor will she remain silent out of fear of threats, Kaftancıoğlu said, "I haven't forgotten the fascist AKP government of today, who you are, who brought you there, and what you have done to the people together... Now get lost, and if you have a boss, send him!"
