Muhittin Böcek named as CHP's Antalya Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate

As the local elections approach, the Republican People's Party (CHP) convened its Central Executive Board (MYK) to determine its candidates. The names decided upon in this meeting were forwarded to the Party Assembly. In the closed-door vote held at the Party Assembly, the candidacy of the incumbent mayor, Muhittin Böcek, was finalized. Muhittin Böcek is the name nominated by the CHP for Antalya in the March 31 local elections.

Announced his candidacy on social media late at night

Muhittin Böcek, who announced his candidacy on his social media account late at night, included the following remarks: "I would like to thank everyone who deemed me worthy of being the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate once again, especially our Republican People's Party Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel, our Central Executive Board (MYK) members, our Party Assembly, and everyone who contributed and put in the effort."

On the other hand, the CHP Antalya Provincial Presidency announced that Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Muhittin Böcek will be welcomed at Antalya Airport today at 14:30 and will visit the party's provincial building at 15:00.
