CHP Beykoz Municipal Council member detained
In Beykoz, CHP Municipal Council member Burak Korkmaz has been detained on allegations of making false posts on social media.
The Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into Burak Korkmaz following a complaint filed by CHP Beykoz Deputy Mayor Özlem Vural Gürzel and Council Member Özgür Özçelik.
The complaint includes allegations that Korkmaz made posts on social media that were contrary to the truth and constituted slander.
Following these developments, Burak Korkmaz was detained by police teams in the morning hours.
