Election boards experienced a busy day as it was the final deadline for political parties to submit their municipal council candidate lists.

The candidacy application and municipal council member list of Zeki Bilgin, the CHP Mayor and mayoral candidate for the Saruhanlı district of Manisa, were rejected due to being entered into the YSK system late.

"THE POWER WENT OUT"

The CHP administration filed an objection, claiming that the list was entered at 17:08 due to a power outage.

Speaking to the Manisa Olay newspaper regarding the matter, Zeki Bilgin said, "We took the list there on time. However, there was a power outage. The list was entered into the system at 17:08, but the system did not accept it. We have requested a document from the electricity distribution company regarding the outage. Whether the list is accepted or not will be determined tomorrow."
