CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu: 'We will continue our path under Mayor Mansur's leadership'
CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu attended the opening ceremony of the 100th Anniversary Park, organized by the Ankara Yenimahalle Municipality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized the significance of the Republic's 100th anniversary, stating, 'Its importance does not stem solely from it being 100 years; it is because after fighting the War of Independence and establishing the Republic, we became an example to all oppressed nations.'
After we fought our War of Independence, many countries under occupation also waged their own national wars of liberation and took us as an example.
We established the Republic, and they built their own republics. We tried to develop our democracy, and they tried to develop theirs. In other words, in its 100-year history, Turkey has a character that serves as an example to all oppressed nations,' he said.
HE EMPHASIZED MANSUR YAVAŞ'S CANDIDACY
Reminding the audience of the March 31, 2024 local elections, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, 'We will continue our path under Mayor Mansur's leadership. We are on our way to winning new mayoralties.'
