CHP Chairman Özgür Özel makes statement in front of TUSAŞ! 'You cannot intimidate us!'

CHP leader Özgür Özel paid a condolence visit to TUSAŞ, which was attacked by the terrorist organization PKK. Following the visit, Özgür Özel is making statements.

An attempt was made to steer Turkey through a terrorist attack. The attack will be investigated by the Parliament and in all its aspects. Everyone needs to engage in self-criticism. TUSAŞ is one of the institutions that needs the most support.

This target was not chosen in vain. If there is an external force saying "watch your step," we say to them; "You cannot intimidate us!" We condemn terrorism, whoever it comes from and wherever it comes from.

Reiterating his call for the "Right to Life Rally" in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Özel said, "We are waiting for all Istanbulites."

Özel said the following:

"First of all, I wish mercy upon the martyrs whose funerals we attended. We are following the condition of the wounded. The institution we visited is the apple of Turkey's eye. This issue will be discussed in the coming days. This is an institution where 17 thousand people work.

If there is a flaw, if we could not protect these people who protect us all, our borders, and our soldiers, we all need to engage in self-criticism. There are issues that will be investigated by the Parliament and discussed extensively. We find it valuable that some footage is being shared with us. I was one of the first to congratulate when the KAAN flew.

This is a place that generated 1 billion dollars in revenue last year. Instead of wearing it down, we need to eliminate the deficiencies if there are any. Such institutions need to be protected by the armed forces or the police. This institution is the largest defense industry within a single campus. I believe that the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of National Defense will make their own assessments on this matter."
