CHP changes its Denizli Çivril candidate

Denizli CHP Provincial Presidency announced that Kemal Aslan, who was introduced as the CHP mayoral candidate for Çivril at a candidate presentation meeting, was withdrawn from his candidacy today by a decision of the Headquarters.

According to information obtained from within the party, the decision to withdraw the candidacy, which had previously caused a crisis in the district, was taken today. While the decision was communicated to Kemal Aslan, Aslan stated that he would announce his roadmap after evaluating the situation with his colleagues at the Election Coordination Center (SKM).

While the CHP Provincial Presidency has not made any statement regarding the matter, CHP Çivril District Chairman Bedri Ataş confirmed that the new CHP mayoral candidate for Çivril is Semih Dere.

Following the candidate presentation meeting held on January 10, the mayoral candidate had opened an Election Coordination Center (SKM) office, formed working teams consisting of women and young people, and had been conducting election campaigns in the Çivril district center and its neighborhoods for 37 days.

Following these developments, the CHP Provincial Presidency and the CHP Çivril District Presidency are expected to provide information to the public.
