CHP's Uzun brings Savcı Sayan's allegations to Parliament: 'Ignored for 9 days'

CHP Muğla Deputy Cumhur Uzun has brought the statements made by former Ağrı Mayor Savcı Sayan via social media to the Parliament.

Uzun stated that in his posts on May 21, Sayan claimed that certain individuals were close to the President and leveled various accusations against them.

In his social media post, Savcı Sayan had used the following expressions: "You claim to be the closest person to the President and get your business done everywhere.

You manage the PKK and FETÖ, and you are designing the CHP. You try to manage the AK Party as if it were your father's property.

You are in league with businessmen and politicians who are enemies of our President. You are active in the change of ownership of media outlets and large companies. You become a 50 percent partner in large companies without paying a single penny.

You are never satisfied with state lands. All the lucrative deals/rents, both domestic and international, are yours. While you stand with your hands clasped in front of our President, you badmouth him behind his back in private meetings. What kind of character are you? How are you able to achieve all this?"

Emphasizing that these allegations contain serious accusations and constitute a criminal complaint, Uzun said, "The prosecutor's office, which opened an investigation into our Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu within 9 minutes, has been ignoring Savcı Sayan's allegations for 9 days."

CALL TO THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE

Calling on the Ministry of Justice, Uzun stated that these allegations must be investigated immediately. He said, "Whoever is at the center of Savcı Sayan's accusations must be identified and the public must be informed."

Uzun directed the following questions to Minister of Justice Tunç: "Has an investigation been launched based on Savcı Sayan's statements? Has Savcı Sayan's testimony been taken regarding these allegations? Will the relationships of the individuals mentioned by Savcı Sayan with terrorist organizations and their corporate partnerships be investigated? Will it be examined which state lands these individuals acquired and in which tenders irregularities were committed? Will an investigation be conducted into those who played an active role in the change of ownership of media organizations and companies?"
