CHP files criminal complaint against Deputy Minister whose 'nepotism messages' were exposed: 'We stand against this audacity'
CHP Deputy Chair responsible for the Ministry of Justice, Gökçe Gökçen, has filed a criminal complaint against Deputy Minister of Justice Ramazan Can, whose nepotism-related text messages were captured on camera.
Republican People's Party (CHP) Deputy Chair responsible for the Ministry of Justice and İzmir MP Gökçe Gökçen has filed a criminal complaint against Deputy Minister of Justice Ramazan Can, whose nepotism-related text messages were recorded by FOX TV.
"WE STAND AGAINST THIS AUDACITY"
CHP Deputy Chair Gökçen made the following statements regarding the matter:
“They claim their only criterion is merit. They forward incoming requests with the note, 'We also have favors to ask.' They are doing this just months after entering the election with the promise of abolishing interviews. Hundreds of young people work day and night preparing for exams and interviews.
Parents try to support their children's exam preparations by sacrificing their own lives, their food, and their drink. Yet, someone, with a message received on their phone, disregards the efforts of hundreds of young people and their parents. We stand precisely against this system, against this audacity.”
