CHP Group Deputy Chair Başarır: From now on, Mr. Kemal will only testify to one thing

In a statement from the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that following a report made to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office alleging that "votes were cast in exchange for money on the day of the congress" at the CHP congress held in Ankara, the documents were sent to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with a decision of lack of jurisdiction, and an investigation was subsequently launched in January 2024.

While the investigation launched into the CHP's congress was met with great reaction within the party, CHP Group Deputy Chair Ali Mahir Başarır tore up the investigation documents during a live broadcast he attended on Halktv.
