CHP leader Özel's response to Erdoğan on 'money counting': 'We have no reservations'

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel made statements at a public meeting in Isparta. 

Starting his speech by addressing the 'money counting' investigation launched into CHP figures, Özel also responded to President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who targeted their party over this investigation.

Özel said, "We have no reservations; the building where the money was spent is clear." 

WHAT DID ERDOĞAN SAY?

Speaking at his party's rally in Van, Erdoğan had said the following regarding the money counting footage:

"They mocked the nation's intelligence with the convoluted game they set up. With stacks of cash entering the picture, this game became even dirtier. No one can cleanse themselves of this filth by shamelessly attacking others and belittling the nation. Our nation will hold them accountable for these insidious games. It will strike a slap of national will on faces that do not know how to feel shame."
