CHP Chairman Özgür Özel attended the funeral of Hüseyin Ağbaba, the late father of CHP Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba.
Hüseyin Ağbaba (88), the father of CHP Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, who had been receiving treatment for some time, has passed away.
Following the news of Hüseyin Ağbaba's death, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel arrived in Malatya yesterday evening and attended the funeral ceremony held at the City Cemetery.
In addition to Özel, the funeral prayer, which was performed following the noon prayer, was attended by Malatya Governor Seddar Yavuz, Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er, CHP Deputy Chairmen Suat Özcağdaş, Yalçın Karatepe, Burhanettin Bulut, and Ulaş Karasu, CHP Group Deputy Chairmen Ali Mahir Başarır and Murat Emir, numerous deputies, mayors, NGO heads, citizens, and the Ağbaba family.
Following the funeral prayer, Hüseyin Ağbaba was laid to rest in the family cemetery. It was learned that CHP Chairman Özel will remain in the city today for condolences and will return tomorrow around noon.
