CHP leader Özgür Özel criticizes TRT: They cut the broadcast and deleted the recording

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel criticized TRT during his party's group meeting.

Özel was discussing the airtime allocated to CHP and AKP, particularly regarding the three major metropolitan cities, when TRT cut the broadcast.

According to the video shared by TRT Haber on X, the channel broadcasted 3 minutes and 25 seconds of Özel's speech. TRT Haber subsequently removed the post from its X account.

"I DO NOT WANT TRT AT MY FUNERAL"

Özel had criticized TRT with the following words:

"TRT is a constitutional institution. The TRT Law was enacted based on the Constitution. The Constitution states that 'TRT is autonomous and impartial.' That impartial TRT gave Murat Kurum 29 minutes and Ekrem İmamoğlu 0, Hamza Dağ 26 minutes and Cemil Tugay 0, Turgut Altınok 17 minutes and Mansur Yavaş 0. This Parliament has instructed them to act impartially in their broadcasts. This is proof of how the AKP has turned a public television station into its own broadcasting organ. Since January 1, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has had 2,952 minutes, while I have had 43 minutes. I suppose they will report it if the Headquarters burns down. I suppose they will broadcast my funeral ceremony if I die. If I die one day, I do not want TRT at my funeral."
