CHP leader Özgür Özel reacts to 'Van' situation: 'It is an ambush against the people of Van'

The right to be elected of DEM Party mayoral candidate Abdullah Zeydan, who came in first in Van in the March 31 Local Elections, was revoked, and the certificate of election was given to the AKP candidate Abdulahat Arvas, who came in second. Making a statement on the matter, CHP leader Özgür Özel reacted with the words, 'The disgrace of giving the certificate of election to the runner-up is an ambush against the people of Van.'
