CHP leader Özgür Özel's fierce response to Bahçeli regarding HÜDA-PAR and Erdoğan: 'Look who is with whom...'

"While we were racking our brains for our martyrs, some in Ankara were busy repeating familiar clichés. Some were calculating how to get through the process without damage to themselves, and they also made us feel that we were experiencing the first days of a major perception operation.

NATIONAL MOURNING

We said let a national day of mourning be declared. Let entertainment be canceled, let festivals be canceled if there are any. We wanted this country to unite in this pain. This practice has happened before. But they did not hear what we said. They declared 3 days of mourning when the King of Saudi Arabia died. They do not see the need to declare a national day of mourning when 12 children of this country are martyred.

''WE ARE NOT AFRAID OF ANYONE''

We are entering a difficult period, we are not afraid of them, but this party has no concern other than taking friendly fire from those it thinks are standing behind it, not from those in front of it. We trust ourselves, we are not afraid of anyone. How many joint declarations have we signed since 1984, what have we achieved, what have we solved, what have we succeeded in? There is neither a rote government nor a rote opposition.''

"WE WILL NOT UNITE FROM NOW ON EITHER"

We all said let 3 days of national mourning be declared, openings and festivals be canceled, and let this country come together in pain. But they didn't care. They used this authority for 3 days when the Saudi king died. They don't see anything to declare a national day of mourning for when 12 children of this nation lose their lives. When our second 6 martyrs arrived, Parliament was in session, but again no information was provided. We have not united with the mentality that chases after the government by signing the papers you want and forgets the martyrs until the next news, and we will not unite from now on either.

DECLARATION STATEMENT

It is true that the Republican People's Party did not sign the declaration. Then they cling to a lie, saying 'CHP signed its own declaration after the reaction came.' We didn't even say 'send the declaration.' We said we would not unite with anyone without sincere information about why these martyrs died. Ömer Çelik tells this lie, and his big-name columnists have said that the CHP signed a declaration itself later. Open the parliamentary records, our Group Deputy Chairman takes the floor and reads this declaration line by line. When the request to prepare this declaration came, we met with our 3 group deputy chairmen and said that if our demands were not met, we would prepare our own declaration. This serious declaration, the other one is a big mistake. We prepared this declaration, which remembers the responsibility towards the families who own the martyrs, with great honor as the CHP Chairman and Group Chairman together with the group deputy chairmen and published it at that moment.

'ERDOĞAN' RESPONSE TO BAHÇELİ

The PKK is not written in the CHP's declaration; they say the CHP cannot say PKK. Mr. Bahçeli, you said today that if you are looking for a traitor who does not mention the name of the PKK, here is Erdoğan's tweet. PROVOCATION AT THE MARTYR'S FUNERAL

Just as I visited Lieutenant Ramazan Günay's house in İzmir, I went to Enis Budak's funeral prayer in my hometown of Manisa when I received the news of the martyrdom. We went to Akhisar Military Airport. We waited for hours for the funeral with his family and nearly 400 of his relatives. Information about a provocation reached us. It was said that you would chant slogans when Özgür Özel arrives. There is information that reached our administrators. They said, 'If you want, don't come to the mosque.'

If I don't go because there will be a provocation and they will try to discredit me in my own hometown, I might not have been able to do justice to the seat I sit in. If an AK Party candidate nominee who attacked our wreath in Gaziantep has emerged, each one of them is coming to light. My sorrow is that we could not bid farewell to a martyr's funeral in a way that suits us all. It is that the mob mobilized did not allow this. Shame on those who attempt this.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Manisa Governor, the Manisa Police Chief and his members, and especially to the Budak Family, those big-hearted people who, instead of living their own pain, called repeatedly and cursed those who did this, even though it was none of their business.

AKŞENER'S WREATH WAS ALSO TORN APART

"DOWN WITH YOUR LOCALISM AND NATIONALISM"

I called Mr. Ali Yerlikaya and thanked the police officers. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Budak family, who, instead of living their own pain, called repeatedly in these matters and said, 'We curse those who did it. Mr. Özgür is a child of our family.' We have signed 28 signatures recently, they had a bullet placed in front of our chairman, had him punched in Parliament, and left him face to face with a lynching attempt in Çubuk. If there is anyone who says 'you should have signed first and then criticized,' let them not lose their minds. I am saying this to everyone who writes and draws. Erdoğan and Bahçeli are both very good politicians, but they are bad people.
