CHP member Berkay Gezgin's account suspended
The Twitter account of CHP Party Assembly member Berkay Gezgin has been suspended due to his use of Ekrem İmamoğlu's photograph as his profile picture.
The Twitter account of imprisoned CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu had been shut down. In response to the decision, social media users began setting their profile pictures to a photo of Ekrem İmamoğlu. CHP Party Assembly member Berkay Gezgin's Twitter account was also temporarily restricted due to the Ekrem İmamoğlu photo.
Following the restriction of his account, Berkay Gezgin's account was suspended by X today.
Berkay Gezgin was known as the child who coined the slogan “Everything will be very beautiful”, which was used in Ekrem İmamoğlu's election campaign.
Gezgin had been arrested for participating in protests for Ekrem İmamoğlu, and after his release from prison, he was appointed as a party assembly member by Özgür Özel at the latest CHP convention.
