CHP MP calls on ITO:

During a press conference at the Parliament, CHP's Adıgüzel criticized Israel's attacks on Gaza, describing Israel's actions as "brutality, massacre, and a crime against humanity." Adıgüzel also pointed out that Turkey has not implemented sufficiently effective sanctions against Israel.

DREW ATTENTION TO THE SCALE OF ECONOMIC RELATIONS

Citing foreign trade volume data provided by TUIK, Adıgüzel drew attention to the scale of economic relations between Turkey and Israel.

Underlining that the trade conducted with Israel indicates an attitude that turns a blind eye to the humanitarian tragedy in the region, Adıgüzel requested that the ITO disclose the names of the companies participating in this trade, citing moral and conscientious responsibility.

"A REQUIREMENT OF CONSCIENTIOUS RESPONSIBILITY"

Stating that this stance is not merely an invitation but a requirement of conscientious responsibility, Adıgüzel announced that he expects action on this matter from all segments of society.

Emphasizing that both companies and the government must take responsibility in this regard, Adıgüzel sought to increase public attention and awareness on the issue.

Showing the TUIK data regarding the foreign trade volume between Turkey and Israel to members of the press, Adıgüzel said, "I invite the ITO to disclose the companies trading with Israel.

I am calling out to all Muslims who possess honor and dignity; call the oppressor an oppressor. I invite everyone to take a stand against the government to stop trade with Israel, to block shipments, and to engage in civil resistance," he said.
