WHAT HAPPENED?
The 2025 minimum wage was set at 22 thousand 104 liras, and CHP leader Özgür Özel had called on workers to strike. Özel had called the MYK to an extraordinary meeting to determine the roadmap to be followed regarding the 2025 minimum wage. In his previous statements, Özgür Özel had announced that their demand for the minimum wage was 30 thousand liras.
