CHP reacts to AKP over November 10 and Atatürk: 'Shame on you! Shame on you! Shame on you!'
CHP Denizli Provincial Chair Ali Osman Horzum and CHP Denizli MP Gülizar Biçer Karaca strongly criticized the AKP Denizli Provincial Headquarters for hanging a portrait of President and AKP Chairman Erdoğan instead of a poster of Atatürk.
The fact that only the Turkish flag and a poster of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were displayed at the AKP Denizli Provincial Headquarters on the 86th anniversary of the passing of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was criticized by CHP Denizli Provincial Chair Ali Osman Horzum and CHP Denizli MP Gülizar Biçer Karaca.
''YOU CANNOT CAST A SHADOW ON ATATÜRK'S VALUE''
CHP Denizli Provincial Chair Ali Osman Horzum harshly criticized the absence of Atatürk's poster at the AKP provincial building, stating, “You cannot cast a shadow on the value of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who fought for the freedom and independence of this country. The love and respect for Atatürk have found their place in the hearts of this nation. You cannot make them forget him.”
''REPUBLIC LOVERS ARE EVERYWHERE''
Horzum stated that they have shown their love and respect for Atatürk in the best possible way in Denizli. “We are decorating every street in Denizli with Atatürk posters and Turkish flags. Our people are showing their gratitude and love for the founder of the Republic in every field. The gains of the Republic are the guarantee not only of today but also of the future,” he said, drawing attention to this meaningful effort by the Republican People's Party municipalities. Horzum added, “We will always continue to protect the legacy of the Republic and Atatürk.”

CHP Denizli MP Gülizar Biçer Karaca condemned the situation in a statement she made on social media. Reacting to the absence of Atatürk's poster at the AKP Denizli provincial building on November 10, Karaca used the following expressions: “Today is November 10... AKP Denizli Provincial Building... The 86th anniversary of the passing into eternity of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey who liberated our homeland's soil... A single word to the oblivious who did not feel the need to hang his poster... If you have any such feeling left! Shame on you! Shame on you! Shame on you!”
