The Republican People's Party (CHP) has categorically denied allegations that emerged following the arrest of Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım, which claimed that Chairman Özgür Özel's official vehicle was provided by Yalım.

The CHP's statement included the following: "As slanders regarding our Chairman's official vehicle were flying around, it became necessary to publish this document. Those trying to create an agenda with lies should take a good look at the document of the payment made by our Headquarters."
