CHP's Bülent Kuşoğlu makes a NEW Party statement: Its establishment served Erdoğan's interests

CHP Deputy Chairman Bülent Kuşoğlu made assessments on MK TV regarding the "absolute nullity" debates surrounding the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress and the NEW Party, which was founded by individuals who left the CHP.

Arguing that the allegations that the will of the congress delegates was purchased were not sufficiently addressed, Kuşoğlu stated, "Absolute nullity means the 38th Congress should be canceled. The court is saying that the last congress held was not conducted correctly and that the will of the delegates was purchased."

"THIS IS THE REASON THEY CANNOT OBJECT"

Kuşoğlu claimed that the party leadership did not create public opinion against these allegations, saying, "Have you ever seen them say, 'Delegates were not purchased, no such thing was done'? Such public opinion was not created. The Istanbul Congress has also been canceled for similar reasons. This is the reason they cannot object."

Stating that there was no ideological split with those who left the CHP, Kuşoğlu argued that the separation was based on "positional and emotional" reasons.

Kuşoğlu said, "We were together just yesterday. We have no differences in terms of thought. When they left, they didn't say, 'Our sociological base has changed' or 'We are no longer Kemalist.'"

"THE OPPOSITION MUST ACT TOGETHER"

Kuşoğlu also rejected the accusations that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu "acts with the Palace," stating that these allegations are not based on concrete evidence. He emphasized that the opposition must act together to receive over 50 percent of the vote in the presidential election.

Criticizing the establishment of the NEW Party, Kuşoğlu stated, "What needs to be done is to bring the entire opposition together. Then why leave the CHP and work for another party? Establishing a new party served Erdoğan's interests. Those who divide the CHP are working with the Palace."
