Asu Kaya elected as CHP Women's Branch Chair
Asu Kaya has been elected chair at the 15th Ordinary Women's Branch Congress of the CHP.
The 15th Ordinary Women's Branch Congress of the CHP was held at the Ankara ATO Congresium with the theme of "Equality and Justice."
In the election where 662 delegates cast their votes, Asu Kaya received 487 votes, while Aylin Nazlıaka received 139 votes.
During the congress, educator Birsen Bayar, Anatolian Women's Movement Association President Birsen Temir Saraç, and CHP Women's Branch Central Executive Board Member Merve Kır had withdrawn their candidacies in favor of Aylin Nazlıaka.
