CHP Youth Branch President stabbed by his friend
Mehmet Karaca, the Republican People's Party (CHP) Buldan District Youth Branch President, was seriously injured in a knife attack following an argument with a friend with whom he had been drinking.
An argument broke out between Karaca and his friend M.B., who was with him, for reasons yet to be determined. As the argument escalated into a fight, M.B. stabbed Karaca multiple times in various parts of his body with a knife he was carrying.
DETERMINED TO BE IN CRITICAL CONDITION
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Karaca, who received initial medical intervention at the scene by paramedics, was taken by ambulance to Buldan Chest Diseases Hospital.

It was learned that Karaca, who was later transferred to Denizli, remains in critical condition.
It was also reported that M.B., who was taken into custody following the incident, will be referred to the courthouse after his processing. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
