Claim stirs up Parliament corridors: Osman Gökçek allegedly punched AKP deputy, mistaking him for CHP member!

AKP Ankara Deputy Osman Gökçek is at the center of a claim that has stirred up the corridors of Parliament. According to a report published in Odatv by Hürrem Elmasçı, Gökçek punched AKP Konya Deputy Abdullah Ağralı following a dispute in Parliament.

According to the claim, Osman Gökçek first argued with a CHP deputy. During the argument, AKP's Abdullah Ağralı intervened and took the CHP deputy to the office of AKP Group Deputy Chair Leyla Şahin Usta.

According to reports from the corridors, Gökçek entered Leyla Şahin Usta's office a short while later and walked toward Ağralı. It is alleged that Gökçek mistook Ağralı, who is from his own party, for a CHP member and punched him for that reason.

It is also claimed that the incident was reported to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. It is being discussed in the corridors that Erdoğan is angry not only because of the fight but also because two deputies from the same party did not recognize each other.
