It was reported that the only representative of a municipality from İzmir to attend the program was Buca Deputy Mayor Hüseyin Benzer.

Notable moments also occurred during Kılıçdaroğlu's visit to Karşıyaka. It was observed that some citizens at the Kent Balık Restaurant reacted by booing when they saw Kılıçdaroğlu.
