Condolence message from Ekrem İmamoğlu to Figen Yüksekdağ
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has conveyed his condolences to former HDP Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ following the passing of her brother.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and Republican People's Party presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu sent a message of condolence following the death of Cavit Yüksekdağ, the brother of Figen Yüksekdağ, who is currently in prison.
In his message addressed to Figen Yüksekdağ, who is being held at Kandıra Prison, İmamoğlu stated the following:
"Dear Ms. Figen Yüksekdağ; I have learned of the passing of your brother, Cavit Yüksekdağ. I share in your grief and am praying for you. May God have mercy on his soul. May he rest in peace. I wish patience for you and your dear family. These sorrows in these difficult days have surely saddened you deeply. I hope we meet in freer days, in a happier, more peaceful, prosperous, and abundant Turkey. With my love and respect. Ekrem İmamoğlu."
