Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is preparing to share new developments regarding the investigations and lawsuits conducted against him with the public.
İmamoğlu will hold a press conference at the IMM Presidential Building in Saraçhane on Monday, January 27, at 10:00 AM. In a statement made by the IMM, it was stated that İmamoğlu will disclose important and striking information regarding injustices that the public will hear for the first time.
The meeting, which İmamoğlu had previously planned to hold on Wednesday, January 22, was postponed due to the fire tragedy in Bolu Kartalkaya.
Following the recent lawsuits filed against him with a request for a political ban, a new investigation launched over allegations that he threatened Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek and his family has brought İmamoğlu to the agenda once again. It was reported that new information regarding these investigations and legal processes is expected to be shared at Monday's meeting.
