Critical summit before Parliament goes on recess: Opening talks between DEM and AKP
DEM Party Imralı Delegation members Buldan and Sancar met with AKP's Efkan Ala regarding the framework law planned to be enacted before the Turkish Grand National Assembly goes on recess.
DEM Party Van MP Pervin Buldan and Şanlıurfa MP Mithat Sancar held a meeting with AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala at Parliament.
It was stated that Buldan and Sancar, who are members of the Imralı Delegation, met with Ala following the July 15 programs at the Turkish Grand National Assembly. It was reported that the meeting, which took place in the evening, evaluated the current stage of the second opening process, referred to as a "Turkey without Terrorism."
It was noted that one of the main topics of the meeting was the framework law planned to be brought to the agenda before the Turkish Grand National Assembly goes on recess at the end of the month. While DEM Party sources confirmed that the meeting took place, no detailed official statement was made regarding the location and content of the meeting.
AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala had also previously stated that the legal regulation regarding the process in question was planned to be discussed before Parliament goes on recess.
