Critical week in CHP: The date Özgür Özel will announce the 'New Party' has been set!

It has been suggested that a new phase has been reached in the leadership debates that began in the CHP following the absolute nullity ruling. According to a report by Mahir Kılıç from Habertürk, it is expected that the elected Chairman of the CHP, Özgür Özel, will announce his decision regarding the new party during the parliamentary group meeting on Tuesday.

The report states that Özel will meet with the provincial chairs who support him on the afternoon of the same day. It is claimed that he will clarify his roadmap by holding a meeting with former Party Assembly and Central Executive Board members on Wednesday.

THE NAME OF THE PARTY WILL BE 'NEW PARTY'

It has been suggested that the name of the party Özel will establish will be "New Party" and that the founding petition is planned to be submitted to the Ministry of Interior on July 23 or 24. It was also reported that meetings will be held within the same week with members of parliament expected to join the new party.

KILIÇDAROĞLU TO SPEAK ON THE PROCESS

On the side of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP Chairmanship following the absolute nullity ruling, it was stated that steps for internal party dismissals are on the agenda. Kılıçdaroğlu is expected to hold a press conference early in the week regarding the second opening process, which the ruling front calls a "Terror-Free Turkey."

PURGES CONTINUE AT FULL SPEED

Among the claims is that decisions to dismiss certain provincial chairs may be taken at the Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting to be chaired by Kılıçdaroğlu. Furthermore, it was suggested that a meeting of provincial chairs will be held in Ankara at the end of July, and that the dismissal process could be initiated for provincial chairs who do not attend the meeting.
