Democrat Party (DP) Chairman Gültekin Uysal visited shopkeepers in Kütahya. Making statements regarding retirees, Uysal said, ''We want our retired people to be able to sustain their lives without being dependent on anyone, whether friend or foe.''
Democrat Party (DP) Chairman Gültekin Uysal continued his election campaign in Kütahya.
As part of his program in the city, Uysal visited shopkeepers at Saman Pazarı, Dönenler Meydanı, and Cumhuriyet Caddesi.
Visiting his party's election booth on Cumhuriyet Caddesi, Uysal said the following in his speech there:
"In this country, we want our people who have worked for years and retired to be able to sustain their lives without being dependent on anyone, whether friend or foe. We want our youth to become the gears of production in this country. But as you can see, on one side there are rosy pictures, and on the other, there are bleak pictures that darken our hearts. Elections are the days when the nation takes its own destiny into its hands. Today is the day we will take our own destiny into our hands. All segments of society, you are neither tenants nor guests of this country. You are the landlords of this country. In that respect, we are obliged to wake up."
