Democrat Party sources reveal: Will Cemal Enginyurt and Salih Uzun switch to another party?
It has been alleged that Cemal Enginyurt and Salih Uzun, who resigned from the Democrat Party, will join another party after remaining independent for a period.
Following the 15th Ordinary Congress of the Democrat Party, Istanbul MP Cemal Enginyurt and Izmir MP Salih Uzun resigned from their party.
According to a report by Cumhuriyet, Democrat Party sources claimed that Enginyurt and Uzun would remain independent for a while before moving to another party.
While it is suggested that the duo will act in unison, it was noted that the CHP is not among the options in the event of a transition to a new party.
Following the resignation announcements, in which both MPs emphasized the "center-right," the number of seats held by the Democrat Party in Parliament has fallen to 1.
