Dervişoğlu's harsh reaction to the İmralı message: 'Shame on you, the nation will not forgive this recklessness!'

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu spoke at his party's parliamentary group meeting. Addressing the video message released by PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan in the morning, Dervişoğlu reacted to the situation. Müsavat Dervişoğlu stated, "Look at this recklessness; shame on you."

Highlights from Dervişoğlu's statement are as follows:

"I wish God's mercy upon our 12 soldiers who fell as martyrs in the Claw-Lock Operation zone and offer my condolences to our nation. The culprit of this tragic incident cannot be a tool sold for 500 liras at a hardware store. Such irresponsibility, such indifference, and such incompetence are unacceptable. Turkey cannot have lost its 12 children in this manner. Whoever the responsible parties may be, all effective and authorized individuals and institutions, especially the Ministry of National Defense, must be held accountable to the Turkish nation in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. This account must be given urgently and without delay. If it is not given, this hall, this party, and this nation will surely demand that account.

While the pain of our 12 martyrs sears our hearts, Mr. Erdoğan seeing no harm in meeting with the representatives of the terrorist leader in İmralı has deeply wounded the nation's conscience. If the Minister of Justice can postpone his planned meetings due to the martyrs' funerals on the same day, the President should have shown the same sensitivity. There is no explanation for meeting with the representatives of that murderer on a day when the nation is shedding tears. While programs are being canceled all over the country, why did it not occur to you to postpone this meeting? Have you become so detached from the conscience and the nation?

Furthermore, the government, which imposes censorship on the free press, can have a video message recorded by the terrorist in İmralı on the same night and broadcast it to the world. A broadcast that is forbidden for the free media is permitted for the terrorist. Moreover, in this message, phrases like 'national liberation struggle' are still being used, and victory is being declared. This picture clearly shows who is winning. I cannot find words to describe such recklessness. Shame on you!

I am addressing Mr. Erdoğan regarding AKP member Ahmet Hamdi Çamlı, known by the nickname 'Yeliz,' who compared the Republic to a '1923 bloody coup.'

You are the one who represents the Republic state today, which this ignorant person is not ashamed to define as a 'bloody coup.' It befits you to intervene and respond to this insolent person before any of us. Silence implies consent; you cannot remain silent on this matter!

What follows is for one of the 5,064 prosecutors to step forward, declare 'I am a prosecutor of the Republic,' and do what is necessary. Rest assured, thousands of heroic Turkish police officers are ready and waiting to bow the head of this ignorant person and put him in handcuffs. I am explicitly filing a criminal complaint here!

They engage in gold smuggling, and then they cover it up by saying, 'it's our own corruption.' They engage in human trafficking, and they whitewash it by saying, 'they are our people.' They embezzle state property, and they legitimize it by saying, 'it is lawful for us.' The life of the Turkish nation is being wasted between shoeboxes and baklava boxes.

But we, as the İYİ Party, are coming to change this order! We have only one goal in this regard: systematic fight against corruption!

Whoever does it, wherever it comes from; we will bring a system to this country that will break the hand reaching for the nation's property, rights, and livelihood!

One leg of the treason mafia is the show of laying down arms. The PKK is reportedly going to organize a weapon-laying show with 20-30 people as a gesture of goodwill.

The Directorate of Communications has now also become responsible for the communications of İmralı and Qandil. Now they will broadcast that show.

Will these weapons be destroyed without looking at who used them and for what? Or will they be taken into judicial custody as they should be? Let's see which one will happen!

The intelligence, military, and police of the Republic of Turkey are institutions that fight against terrorism. It is the Turkish judiciary that punishes the existence of this treacherous terrorist organization and the crimes it commits.

In this period, which is called 'solution' but is essentially the second version of the 'Treason Process,' the ruling cadre has started to engage in such devious affairs that these cadres, who deceive the nation with the authority they received from it, will go down in history as a black stain.

The AKP Chairman sitting in the Presidential office, you now have one more title: You are now someone who pardons 'terrorist organization members' by using the authority of the Presidency.

You are a President who pardons the traitors who martyred our citizens with your signature.

You are the one who does not hesitate to imprison anyone who criticizes you, but chooses to pardon those who fire weapons at your nation.

They are filling the prisons with mayors, journalists, students, politicians, academics... In short, with anyone who does not pledge allegiance to them and raises a dissenting voice.

Our nation no longer supports the decisions you make, the work you do, or the path you have taken. If you think otherwise, go ahead and bring the ballot box! Let our nation decide on this situation where you have made terrorists partners in the government.

Ask them in a referendum: 'I am now even pardoning your murderers. I have taken the traitors to the homeland into the People's Alliance. What do you think?' Go ahead and ask!"
