Dervişoğlu's 'Kayseri' commentary: 'The end of forced hospitality has been reached'
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made notable statements following the incidents that began in Kayseri after a Syrian national abused a young child and subsequently spread to other provinces. In his statement, where he used the phrase "The end of forced hospitality has been reached," Dervişoğlu said, "Whoever filled the country with illegal migrants, and whoever took encouraging actions to make these illegal migrants permanent, is responsible for this fire."
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements regarding the current agenda during his party's weekly group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
Addressing the incidents that began in Kayseri following the abuse of a young child by a Syrian national and spread to other provinces, the İYİ Party leader reacted to Erdoğan's claim that 'The opposition is responsible.'
"WHOEVER MADE THE ILLEGAL MIGRANTS PERMANENT..."
Dervişoğlu spoke as follows:
"Whoever filled the country with illegal migrants, whoever pursued the open-door policy at the borders, and whoever took encouraging actions to make these illegal migrants permanent despite the end of war conditions, is responsible for this fire. Without wasting any time, this demographic destruction attempt must be defined as a primary threat by the National Security Council. In order to take steps in accordance with this threat definition and to eliminate this total demographic attack, all kinds of diplomatic, administrative, and security measures must be planned as a whole and in a comprehensive manner."
"THE END OF FORCED HOSPITALITY HAS BEEN REACHED"
Stating that "the end of forced hospitality has been reached," the İYİ Party leader also issued a 6-point call for a 'national consensus' to political parties.
Dervişoğlu used the following words:
"The problem concerns not only Turkey but also the outside world. For this reason, one pillar of the independent board to be established must consist of a diplomacy group capable of conducting negotiations with the EU, the Syrian government, and the UN. I invite all political parties to a national consensus on the steps we propose as the İYİ Party, which must be implemented without delay."
REFUGEE INCIDENTS IN KAYSERI
"Turkey has become the country hosting the highest number of refugees and illegal migrants in the world. It is hosting more than 10 million illegal migrants, asylum seekers, refugees—call them what you will. Two, in northern Syria, the demographic infrastructure of a terrorist state was created by imperialism and through strategic migration engineering. Three, a PKK horde of 100 thousand people was deployed in northern Syria in plain sight. They are trying to establish a state. Four, Turkey has spent more than 100 billion dollars on illegal migrants within this economic bottleneck. These are just a small fraction of the prices Turkey has paid in the period transitioning from 'My brother Assad' to 'Murderer Assad' and a few days ago to 'Mr. Assad'.
At the point we have reached, the fact that Turkey has been turned into a refugee camp as a result of the Middle Eastern quagmire adventure into which Erdoğan and his Ikhwanist, Ensar-supporter cronies—who were caught up in the dream of praying in the Umayyad Mosque—have dragged Turkey, is not something that can be resolved by saying 'We made a mistake, may God forgive us.' Because the Turkish nation is overwhelmed. Those who have no intention of extinguishing the forest fires, the kitchen fires, the justice fires, or the fire of national pride and honor have seized its state. And surely, it will win it back.
"THE TURKISH NATION IS ANGRY"
Because the Turkish nation is angry; it is angry at not being able to go to hospitals built with its own taxes and earnings, at not being able to sit in the park in its own neighborhood, and at the perverts who eye its women and daughters. And the Turkish nation will no longer carry this unfair and heavy burden placed upon its back without its consent! It is determined to break these chains of captivity and cast off this burden. That is why we see the events that took place in Kayseri on Sunday night and in northern Syria on Monday as the ordinary consequences and expected reflections of an open and continuous destruction project aimed at the present and future existence of the Turkish nation. A country hosting more than 10 million illegal migrants and refugees is, of course, open to all kinds of risks.
There may be provocations. There may also be provocateurs. Especially now that the doors of relations with the Syrian state have been quietly opened and Erdoğan is addressing his old buddy with the title 'Mr.' again, it would be foolish not to expect provocations. It is a known fact that imperialist powers will attempt to stage all kinds of games to keep Turkey from having peace. Of course, one must be careful against these and not fall for the games. However, there is one reality that stands: Just as a forest full of dry pine trees waits for a small spark to ignite in the summer heat, a small incident is enough to break the patience of our nation, which has been patient for years. What was done to a little girl and the lowering and burning of the Turkish flag are flames that exceed small sparks. In other words, the search for those responsible and for provocateurs is futile. The essential thing is to take precautions. Whether helping those fleeing war or starting to think about the departure of those who came without precautions, one must start with precaution.
"I AM WARNING YOU FROM HERE"
The end of forced hospitality has been reached. I am warning you from here. Do not resist the solution. Do not encourage the lack of a solution. Do not attribute your own helplessness to the state. Do not try to attribute the defeat of your ideological delusions and sectarian obsessions to the Turkish nation.
However, another truth that stands is this: Whoever filled the country with illegal migrants, whoever pursued the open-door policy at the borders, and whoever took encouraging actions to make these illegal migrants permanent despite the end of war conditions, is responsible for this fire. Without wasting any time, this demographic destruction attempt must be defined as a primary threat by the National Security Council. In order to take steps in accordance with this threat definition and to eliminate this total demographic attack, all kinds of diplomatic, administrative, and security measures must be planned as a whole and in a comprehensive manner.
Secondly, in accordance with this plan, the determination of a rational and applicable return calendar by the state, not by the government, should constitute the first stage of the solution. Three; In order to comply with the announced calendar and to carry out the necessary actions and procedures, it is essential to establish an independent board where all political parties and all non-governmental organizations whose decision and stance on this issue are clear and explicit can come together. Four; Since the problem of illegal migrants and refugees is directly related to the Turkish nation's unconditional sovereign rights over its homeland, namely the geographies of Anatolia and Thrace, meeting under the founding capacity and unifying roof of the TBMM is the most correct method.
CALL TO POLITICIANS
Five; Preventing unwanted incidents depends on addressing the concerns of our people. In order to keep the Turkish nation informed about developments moment by moment, it is essential that an independent board, not the ministers who are mere secretaries of the palace or the communications directorate that plays at advertising for the state, accesses and shares the data. Six; The problem concerns not only Turkey but also the outside world. For this reason, one pillar of the independent board to be established must consist of a diplomacy group capable of conducting negotiations with the EU, the Syrian government, and the UN.
I invite all political parties to a national consensus on the steps we propose as the İYİ Party, which must be implemented without delay.
