The black vehicle with the license plate 06 CHP 40, stated to have been used for years by detained İzmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet, has been put up for sale online.

In the listing published under the title "Clean official vehicle," a price of 985 thousand TL was requested for the car, which is stated to have 400 thousand kilometers. The listing included information that the vehicle is located in the İzmit district of Kocaeli.

While Hürriyet remains in detention, it drew attention that the license plate bearing the letters "CHP" was the subject of a sales listing following her departure from the CHP and transition to the YENİ Party.

In a post made from Hürriyet’s social media account, the sale of the vehicle was mentioned, stating, "A companion that has accompanied Mayor Fatma on many journeys and memories for years is now waiting for its new companion."

The listing description stated that the vehicle’s maintenance was performed on time. Regarding the roof paint, the information was shared: "The roof is painted; it had to be painted after the antenna was removed."

No explanation was provided as to why the vehicle was put up for sale. Hürriyet, who was arrested as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office into the İzmit Municipality, had been temporarily suspended from her duties.
