DEVA's Istanbul candidate has been determined
The DEVA Party will nominate Party Spokesperson İdris Şahin for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral race.
As Turkey remains focused on the local elections to be held on March 31, candidates for Istanbul continue to be announced.
According to information circulating behind the scenes, the DEVA Party's Istanbul candidate is Ankara Deputy İdris Şahin. Thus, the race for Istanbul will feature current IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu from the CHP, Murat Kurum from the People's Alliance, Buğra Kavuncu from the IYI Party, Meral Danış Beştaş and Murat Çepni from the DEM Party, Mehmet Altıngöz from the New Welfare Party, Azmi Karamahmutoğlu from the Victory Party, and Berk Hacıgüzeller from the Homeland Party.
Journalist İsmail Saymaz announced that the DEVA Party's Istanbul candidate will be Ankara Deputy and party Deputy Chairman İdris Şahin.
Saymaz stated, "DEVA Party Ankara Deputy İdris Şahin has become his party's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate."
