Devlet Bahçeli's new name suggestion for Fulya Öztürk: 'Fulya Asena'
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli thanked CNN TÜRK for their reporting in Northern Iraq and suggested the name "Fulya Asena" to Fulya Öztürk.
CNN TÜRK Special News Chief Fulya Öztürk stated that MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli called to congratulate her following her report from Northern Iraq, and also mentioned that Bahçeli had given her a new name.
Traveling to the Metina-Zap region with special permission, CNN TÜRK Special News Chief Fulya Öztürk and her team filmed Turkish Armed Forces soldiers conducting operations in the area and entered a cave belonging to the PKK.
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who watched the report, called Öztürk to congratulate her.
Bahçeli also made a new name suggestion to Öztürk.
In a statement on her Instagram account, Öztürk said, "Mr. Devlet Bahçeli called to congratulate me after our Northern Iraq report. He said, 'I watched our Mehmetçik with pride.' I would like to thank the Chairman for his kind words."
Öztürk also shared that Bahçeli told her, "From now on, your name is Fulya Asena Öztürk."
