Devlet Bahçeli's recovery process continues: When will he return to group meetings?

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli was taken to a private hospital in the Gebze district on February 4 due to health issues. As a result of the examinations conducted there, he underwent a successful surgery on February 6 due to degeneration in his heart valve, which had been replaced 10 years ago. In the statement made after the operation, it was stated that Bahçeli's health condition was stable and that he would return to his normal life in a short time.

Following his surgery on February 6, MHP Chairman Bahçeli issued a written statement three days later, expressing that he was nearing the end of his treatment process and was recovering rapidly. Bahçeli gave a positive message about his health, saying, "I thank my Lord who grants healing."

As of February 14, it was announced that Devlet Bahçeli's treatment process at the hospital had been completed and he had been discharged. In the statement made by the MHP Private Secretariat, it was noted that Bahçeli's treatment process would continue as a convalescence period and that he would begin his work within the timeframe recommended by his doctors.

DID NOT ATTEND THE GROUP MEETING

Following Devlet Bahçeli's discharge from the hospital, it was learned that he would not attend the group meeting expected to be held on Tuesday, February 18 (AA). Considering Bahçeli's health condition and recovery process, it is anticipated that his return to group meetings may take a few weeks.

WHEN WILL HE RETURN TO THE MEETINGS?

The recovery process after heart valve surgery varies depending on the type of surgery. If the surgery was performed using a minimally invasive method, the recovery process can take 1-2 weeks. However, if a more comprehensive intervention was performed, the recovery process can take 6-7 weeks. In light of this information, the beginning of March is projected as the earliest date for Devlet Bahçeli's return to group meetings.

While no clear statement has been made regarding when Devlet Bahçeli will return to group meetings, his health condition is stable and he is expected to return to his duties in a short time.
